7 (almost 8) months after moving in and there is finally at least one room in the house that’s completely finished – thank you complicated pregnancy. This nursery was such a labor of love. Lots of late nights and nap times went into making this room, but it was totally worth it!

The box trim is such a traditional touch that I’m loving (color is BM Salisbury Green at 75%).

Singing “You are my Sunshine” calms T right down, so I made these prints for her nursery. I made them in Pages and printed them at Office Depot – size is 18×24. Frames are from Michaels.

The adorable white metal crib is from Wayfair. They have an awesome crib selection!

I searched and searched (and then searched some more) for the perfect wallpaper. I found this on Anthropologie’s website, but they didn’t have enough in stock so I kept looking and I found the exact same paper for cheaper at Home Depot!

I updated the Ikea dresser that we had used in E’s nursery with these gold knobs and I’m only a little bit obsessed. They’re the perfect feminine touch!

Speaking of feminine touches, many people over on Instagram were unsure of these closet handles, but aren’t they perfect? I think they look like cute earrings.

The blush velvet curtains add in some great texture and I had the blinds made by Select Blinds in their Ivory Matte Velour flat fold roman shade. For maximum darkness, I added these blackout curtains behind the pink ones.

I used these brackets to add a cute display shelf.

Can you believe this used to be an old dinged up bookshelf I got for $15 off Facebook Marketplace? Check out my reels on Instagram to see the process.

I made this light from this simple one using spray paint and fusible interfacing – blog post coming soon!

The little miss who doesn’t care what her room looks like! Haha.

I hope you enjoyed watching me as much as I enjoyed creating it! If you’re not all ready, make sure you’re following me on Instagram so you can stay up do date on all my projects!

With love,
Mercedes ♥

Beautiful nursery and adorable baby. What did you name her?

    1. Thank you! Yes, I was put on bed rest shortly after moving into our house (starting at 24w until I delivered) so I was banned from projects! Happy to be back at it.

  3. I love this nursery so so much!! I would also love to know how you made the scalloped ceiling light fixture! I would like to do something similar in our nursery and that seems like the most cost effective way to get the look:)
